Haier in Wuhan is making additional investments to build a new parts factory, which is expected to be fully operational within the year.
On August 10, at the intelligent workshop of the Haier Industrial Park in Wuhan Economic Development Zone, four flexible assembly lines were operating at full capacity. "In the first half of the year, we have completed 59% of our annual production target, exceeding our expectations," said Li Juan, the head of Wuhan Haier's smart manufacturing production platform, in an interview. This year, additional investments have been made in Wuhan to build a new parts factory, which will produce supporting components such as pipe sets, injection parts, and circuit boards independently, with full production expected by the end of the year.
