The rainstorm warning for Shanghai's central urban area has changed from orange to red.

At 10:30 AM, the Shanghai Meteorological Station updated the orange rainstorm warning signal for the central urban area to a red rainstorm warning signal: It is expected that within the next 6 hours, the cumulative rainfall in most parts of the central urban area will exceed 220 millimeters. The orange rainstorm warning signal has been upgraded to a red rainstorm warning signal, and the heavy rainfall is likely to cause urban flooding and traffic congestion. Please take extra precautions against extreme heavy rainfall. Currently, Shanghai has three warnings in effect: "Orange Wave + Blue Typhoon + Blue Huangpu River High Tide," while the central urban area has dual alerts of "Red Rainstorm + Yellow Thunderstorm" simultaneously in effect.
