FIFA: Does not support any presidential election process that violates the statutes.

On August 8, local time, FIFA issued a statement saying that, in response to the recent statements from CONMEBOL and CAF, as well as discussions between FIFA and member associations and confederations around the world, FIFA will not support, assist, or tolerate any presidential election process that does not comply with FIFA's statutes, democratic procedures, and established governance frameworks.
