Hangtai High-Speed Railway Wenyu Section Commences Operation

According to China Railway Construction, on August 8, the high-speed rail segment from Wenling to Yuhuan, part of the Hangzhou to Shaoxing to Taizhou line, officially commenced operations. This project, led by CRCC Investment as the joint venture leader, with design and surveying by the Fifth Survey and Design Institute of China Railway, involved contributions from China Railway 14th Bureau, China Railway 24th Bureau, China Railway Construction, and China Railway Electrification Bureau among others. Yuhuan has transitioned directly from having no railway access to entering the high-speed rail era, with the fastest train from Hangzhou to Yuhuan taking just 1 hour and 47 minutes, achieving "railway connectivity across all counties" in Taizhou.
