The typhoon "White Dolphin" is approaching, and the Shanghai Maritime Safety Administration has activated a Level IV emergency response for typhoon prevention.

According to the Shanghai Maritime Bureau's official WeChat account, the center of the 13th typhoon of the year, White Dolphin, was located about 1,130 kilometers to the east of Naha City in the Ryukyu Islands at 5:00 AM this morning, specifically at 25.4 degrees north latitude and 138.9 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind intensity near the center reached 15 degrees, with the center's lowest pressure at 940 hPa. The radius of the 7-degree wind circle is 260-360 kilometers, the radius of the 10-degree wind circle is 120-160 kilometers, and the radius of the 12-degree wind circle is 60-80 kilometers. It is expected that White Dolphin will move westward at a speed of 20-25 kilometers per hour, with little change in intensity, and it will have no impact on the coastal waters of our country before the 7th. Based on the typhoon's condition and trajectory, the Shanghai Maritime Bureau has decided to activate the Level IV typhoon emergency response at 8:00 AM on August 5th. All units are urged to strictly follow the typhoon prevention plan and ensure the implementation of all necessary typhoon preparedness measures.
