On August 1, DAST Traffic Data Express, a subsidiary of Flight Butler, released a summary of civil aviation data for the first half of the summer transportation period in 2026. Observing the provincial capacity, some tourist-oriented regions showed a significant increase in capacity, with Xinjiang up 10.3% year-on-year, Beijing up 7.2%, and Yunnan up 6.6%. In contrast, Qinghai saw a year-on-year decline of 16.5%, Ningxia declined by 10.6%, and Inner Mongolia decreased by 7.2%. In July, the average ticket price for economy class on the top 20 domestic routes was approximately 844.9 yuan, with only three routes averaging over 1,000 yuan, all of which are related to Beijing Capital Airport. Compared to the same period in previous years, only four routes, including Shanghai Hongqiao - Beijing Capital and Shenzhen Bao'an - Shanghai Hongqiao, saw a year-on-year increase in ticket prices; the other 16 routes experienced varying degrees of decline, with some routes seeing substantial reductions. Eight routes, including Shenzhen Bao'an - Beijing Capital, Chengdu Shuangliu - Beijing Capital, and Guangzhou Baiyun - Beijing Capital, saw declines exceeding 10%.
