The three departments allocated 11,000 pieces of central disaster relief supplies to support disaster relief efforts in Jilin and Heilongjiang.
On August 1, the Office of the National Disaster Prevention and Relief Committee and the Ministry of Emergency Management sent a working group to Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces to assess the recent rainstorm and flood disaster situation on the ground, assisting and guiding local authorities in disaster relief efforts. According to the needs of the disaster-stricken areas for relief and assistance, they coordinated with the National Grain and Material Reserve Administration to allocate 11,000 items of central disaster relief supplies, including blankets, bedding, and family emergency kits, to Jilin and Heilongjiang, to support local efforts in properly resettling and assisting affected residents.
