Wildfire Out of Control in Southern Germany

A wildfire has occurred in the area near Freudenberg in Bavaria, southern Germany, and as of July 31, the situation remains out of control. Authorities have deployed approximately 330 emergency personnel to combat the fire. The local authorities of Amberg-Sulzbach stated on July 31 that strong winds have exacerbated the situation. Due to the complex terrain, firefighters can only reach various locations on foot to carry out firefighting operations, and stormy weather has also hindered rescue efforts.
