Currently, China's large models are making artificial intelligence transition from an expensive luxury to an accessible everyday commodity through open-source initiatives. In the past, high-performance artificial intelligence was a luxury for a select few, with high prices and barriers to entry, making it out of reach for many countries that could see its potential but couldn't afford it, and wanted to participate but couldn't get in. Today, the cumulative global download count of China's open-source large AI models has exceeded 10 billion, and a national-level open-source AI community has gathered over 11 million users, hosting more than 70,000 models. China's large models are going global, not just by exporting a model, but by taking root in the land, nurturing a group of talents, driving an industry, and benefiting the local people. Truly great technology should not be a privilege for a few, but a force for the common progress of humanity. Making artificial intelligence beneficial to the world and serving humanity is indeed the mission of China's open-source era.
