According to the Ministry of Transport, the "Technical Regulations for the Statutory Inspection of Domestic Navigation Vessels" has recently been officially released, clarifying that domestic navigation vessels are required to be equipped with intelligent monitoring systems. This statutory requirement aims to enhance the technical requirements for shore-based remote control of shipping enterprises and is an important supporting requirement for the implementation of the "Guidelines for Shipping Enterprises to Fulfill Their Main Responsibility for Production Safety" and the six accompanying work guidance systems. The technical requirements for ship intelligent monitoring systems include functions such as integrated AI video recognition, real-time alerts, and remote intercom, which must automatically identify unsafe behaviors such as fatigue driving and crew members leaving their posts, and synchronize alert information to the shore-based platform. The relevant requirements are implemented onboard, shifting enterprises' remote control from "post-incident accountability" to "pre-incident warning and mid-incident intervention."
