It was announced at the meeting that from "Cherry Freedom" to "Durian Freedom," more and more global high-quality products are "flying into ordinary households," which is not only a vivid embodiment of China's continued opening of the market and sharing development opportunities globally, but also a true reflection of expanding domestic demand and meeting the needs of the people for a better life. Since the beginning of this year, 138 new agricultural products from Vietnam, Belgium apples, and 15 countries with 29 new food products have been approved for import, with imported food sources covering more than 150 countries and regions around the world. Currently, China has become the main trading partner of more than 160 countries and regions worldwide, with a wider range of imported goods and better quality. High-quality products such as milk from Oceania, coffee from Africa, and shrimp from Ecuador are crossing the ocean to enter the shopping carts of Chinese consumers. During the "Fifteen-Five" period, customs will continue to optimize clearance procedures, reduce cross-border logistics costs, ensure the rapid clearance of fresh agricultural products, and ensure that the freshest quality products are placed on the people's tables at the most economical prices. Customs will also further simplify the process of tax refunds for overseas travelers. Starting from July 1st, a random inspection model will be implemented for tax refund applications below 10,000 yuan, and paperless processing will be fully implemented. In the future, through the optimization of supervision, the inbound consumer experience will continue to improve and enhance the "Shop in China" brand.
