Recently, Sun Meijun, the Director of the General Administration of Customs, presided over a dialogue meeting between the government and enterprises in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province. He listened to the opinions and suggestions of import and export enterprises, chambers of commerce, and associations, and conducted research on the services of Gongbei Customs in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as the construction of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macau Deep Cooperation Zone. Sun Meijun stated that Customs will continue to improve the level of facilitation of cross-border trade, create a first-class port business environment characterized by marketization, rule of law, and internationalization, strengthen regulatory system innovation by relying on various open platforms, integrate regulation into services, promote innovation and development of foreign trade, and make the domestic and international dual circulation more smooth. By implementing the "Smart Customs" partnership plan, promoting AEO mutual recognition, standard rules, international cooperation on inspection and quarantine, facilitating the efficient cross-border movement of resources, supporting companies to expand diversified markets, and helping companies reduce costs and increase efficiency. He also emphasized the deepening of government-enterprise co-governance, improvement of the credit management system, and the establishment of a regulatory mechanism that emphasizes both physical and enterprise supervision, in order to create a more convenient environment for compliant and transparent companies, and jointly maintain a good trade rule of law order.
