The Shanghai Meteorological Observatory updated the yellow rainstorm warning signal for the central urban area to an orange rainstorm warning signal at 14:35 on July 19th. It is expected that before midnight today, areas such as Wujiaochang and Xinjiangwancheng in Yangpu District will experience short-term heavy rainfall of more than 100 millimeters per hour. The yellow rainstorm warning signal has been upgraded to an orange rainstorm warning signal, and heavy rainfall may cause urban waterlogging and traffic congestion. Please strengthen prevention measures. The previously issued yellow hail warning, yellow wind warning, and yellow lightning warning signals in the central urban area remain in effect. The Shanghai Flood Control Headquarters will maintain a level III flood control and typhoon response action for the central urban area.
