Boeing accelerates production of key intercept missile seeker heads.

In order to enrich the core air defense missile inventory, the United States is accelerating its replenishment efforts, with Boeing increasing the production capacity of PAC-3 missile guidance heads by 30% last year. The company plans to achieve a similar increase in production capacity again this year. Boeing Defense Department CEO Steve Parker stated that the company produced 650 sets of guidance heads last year, a production level on par with Lockheed Martin's missile production plan for 2026. Boeing's goal for this year is to produce 850 sets of guidance heads. Earlier, Iran fired ballistic missiles at multiple areas in the region, leading the United States and its allies to consume thousands of this type of intercepting missiles during conflicts. Boeing has signed multiple framework agreements this year, aiming to drastically increase the annual production of guidance heads to 2000 sets by 2030. On Sunday local time, Parker stated at a preview briefing before the Farnborough International Airshow, "This is the task entrusted to us by the country. We are fully prepared and closely cooperating with our customers."
