In 2026, the first batch of affordable housing construction fundraising plan in Beijing has been announced. According to the Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission, this batch of plans will include 15 new projects with over 17,200 units, and 37 projects in 10 districts including Xicheng, Chaoyang, and Haidian will be completed with over 42,000 units. Efforts to provide rental housing such as "one bed" and "one room" will continue to increase.
