According to the 36kr app, on July 15, the Hong Kong Airport Authority released its 2025/26 annual report for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. Throughout the year, various indicators of air traffic at Hong Kong International Airport maintained strong growth momentum, with passenger traffic increasing by a double-digit percentage of 14.7% to 63 million, aircraft movements increasing by 7.1% to 399,450 flights. Cargo throughput increased by 2.7% to 5.1 million tonnes compared to the previous year, making Hong Kong International Airport the world's busiest cargo airport for the 15th time since 2010. The continuous increase in air traffic further solidifies Hong Kong International Airport's position as a key hub in Asia.
