With the recent military tensions between the United States and Iran escalating again, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency on the 14th reinstated and strengthened aviation warnings for the Middle East region, explicitly instructing airlines to avoid the airspace of Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, with the validity period extended until July 29. The no-fly warnings for the airspace of Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon have been extended until the end of August. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency stated that the significant military presence of the United States in the region directly exposes related countries to the risk of Iranian missile and drone attacks, while the defense systems of the US and regional countries are on high alert, greatly increasing the possibility of civilian aircraft being misidentified or mistakenly targeted, and the potential for aerial military confrontations to occur without warning. Just a week ago, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency had revoked the warning to "exercise caution" in flying in the region due to the memorandum of understanding signed by the US and Iran in June.
