Wenshi Holdings stated in recent investor relations activities that in the first half of the year, consumption of Chinese indigenous chicken was in the traditional off-season, and chicken prices were suppressed due to the impact of low pork prices, resulting in lower chicken prices in the first half of the year. According to past cyclical patterns, the second half of the year is usually a peak season for chicken meat consumption due to cooler weather and more holidays, and prices are expected to gradually rise. Wenshi Holdings' comprehensive cost of raising pigs was around 6 yuan per kilogram in the second quarter. The full cost of raising chickens was 5.8 yuan per kilogram, and after excluding the impact of feed raw material prices, the cost of raising chickens decreased compared to the previous period.
