The new leadership of the China Association for Science and Technology has been elected, and Wang Guangqian is elected as the chairman.

The 11th National Committee of the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) held its first meeting on the morning of July 11th in Beijing. The meeting elected a new leadership of CAST. Wang Guangqian was elected as the Chairman of the 11th National Committee of CAST. You Zheng, Bao Weimin, Feng Shenhong, Qiao Jie, Xiang Qiao, Li Luming, Wu Lizhu, Chen Wei, Chen Wei, Chen Xuedong, Chen Jianfeng, He Junke, Mo Zeyao, Xu Tao, Gao Hongjun, Liao Xiangke and 16 others were elected as Vice Chairmen. Yu Junqing and 56 others were elected as members of the 11th Executive Committee of CAST. The meeting also passed decisions on granting honorary positions within CAST, including granting the title of Honorary Chairman to Wan Gang and the title of Honorary Member to Ma Weiming and 33 others.
