On July 11th, Fliggy announced that it has activated its emergency response mechanism. As of 9 a.m. on July 11th, Fliggy has assisted multiple batches of consumers in canceling or rescheduling their bookings free of charge. Fliggy stated that for hotel bookings in Fujian Fuzhou, Zhejiang Zhoushan, Anhui Huangshan, and Taiwan with check-in dates from July 10th to July 12th made before July 10th, consumers who are forced to cancel or change their travel plans due to the impact of the typhoon can apply for a refund or reschedule without any loss. Fliggy will cover the losses for consumers.
