Jiangsu Maritime Safety Administration has raised the typhoon defense response to level II.

Today at 7 o'clock, the Jiangsu Maritime Bureau upgraded its typhoon defense response to level II. As of 10:30 in the morning, ships in the jurisdiction are anchoring orderly, with a total of 6812 ships, including 1180 ocean ships and 5632 river ships. All 235 fishing boats in Jiangsu province have returned to port, and all 1501 fishermen have come ashore; 125 coastal wind power maintenance ships in Nantong have entered port to avoid the wind, and personnel on board have been evacuated to shore; all types of ships in the jurisdiction are preparing for typhoon defense measures according to established plans, with water service areas and official vessels implementing measures such as adjusting anchors and reinforcing equipment, and passenger ferry boats are only temporarily redirecting vehicles and personnel, with all others ceasing operations.
