According to the Mexican newspaper "The Economist" website reported on July 7th, the market share of cars imported from China in Mexico continues to expand, and they are speeding up their expansion. Chinese cars are entering the market with a strong presence due to their rich product matrix, diverse selection of models, leading technological innovation, and lower prices. The price increase of local Mexican cars is lower than the inflation rate, a market phenomenon that is to some extent being driven by Chinese car companies. Consumers are taking advantage of this window of opportunity to purchase cars, and the popularity of car loans and financial services is further boosting this trend. As of now, the proportion of new car sales in Mexico that are financed through loans has reached 74% to 77%.
