The China Meteorological Administration issued a red warning for heavy rain at 10:00 on July 11th.

It is expected that from 14:00 on July 11 to 14:00 on July 12, there will be heavy rain in Zhejiang, northern Fujian, northeast Jiangxi, southern Anhui, Beijing, northern Tianjin, central and northern Hebei, southeastern Inner Mongolia, western and northern Liaoning, central and eastern Jilin, central and southern Shaanxi, central and southern Shanxi, southeastern Qinghai, southwestern Gansu, western Sichuan Basin, northern and western Yunnan, and Taiwan island. Parts of eastern and southern Zhejiang, northern Fujian, northeast Jiangxi, Beijing, northern Tianjin, central and northern Hebei, northern Liaoning, central Jilin, western Sichuan Basin, and Taiwan island will experience heavy rain, with some areas experiencing torrential rain and locally severe rainfall. In specific locations, such as northeastern and southern Beijing, central and northeastern Hebei, there may be 250-280 millimeters of rainfall, while in eastern and southern Zhejiang, northern Fujian, there may be 250-500 millimeters of rainfall, and in northern and central Taiwan, there may be 250-800 millimeters of rainfall. In the mentioned areas, there will be short periods of heavy precipitation, accompanied by thunderstorms, strong winds, or hail.
