The Sustainable Transport Side Event of the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development in 2026 was held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on the 8th. The meeting focused on replicable green and smart transportation solutions to promote the implementation of the various priority actions of the "United Nations Decade of Sustainable Transport." The event was jointly organized by the Permanent Missions of China and Turkmenistan to the United Nations, the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, and the China International Sustainable Transport Innovation and Knowledge Center. Representatives from relevant countries, international organizations, multilateral financial institutions, companies, and think tanks attended the event.
