TSMC distributed a 4.8 billion US dollars dividend before reporting its financial results.

According to a report by the Taiwan Business Gazette, TSMC distributed cash dividends for the fourth quarter of last year, totaling approximately 155.6 billion Taiwanese dollars, or 6 yuan per share. Major shareholders will receive substantial dividends, with the National Development Fund of Taiwan expected to receive 9.92 billion yuan. Chairman Mark Liu is estimated to receive around 43.3 million yuan. Founder Morris Chang, if he does not sell his shares after retirement, is estimated to receive around 750 million yuan.
