The Chinese Navy's 83-ship fleet ended its 4-day friendly visit to Vietnam on the morning of the 9th, setting sail from the Lotus Port in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to continue its mission of comprehensive training and visits at sea. Around 10 am, the Vietnamese side held a farewell ceremony at the Lotus Port, attended by staff from the Chinese Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, local Chinese nationals, representatives from Chinese institutions, students studying abroad, as well as representatives of the Vietnamese navy. After departing, the fleet conducted joint training exercises with Vietnamese navy vessels in nearby waters, including formation movements, flag signaling, and naval etiquette. During the visit, representatives from the 83-ship fleet laid flowers at the statue of Ho Chi Minh, visited and exchanged with the Ho Chi Minh University of Humanities and Social Sciences, and held activities such as ship tours and a friendly football match. This visit is a concrete manifestation of deepening cooperation between the navies of China and Vietnam in areas such as ship visits and joint patrols, and plays an active role in enhancing mutual trust between the two countries and maintaining regional stability.
