Yesterday, the shore phase of the Sino-Russian "Maritime Cooperation-2026" joint exercise was successfully completed. The ships from both sides will set sail from a military port in Qingdao this morning and head to the designated sea area to carry out joint maritime exercises. Before departure, the joint directorate and joint command organized multiple rounds of command exercises and tactical coordination. Commanders from both sides agreed on key operational points and rehearsal rules, detailed the maritime coordination process, and emergency response plans. At the Naval Submarine Academy, Chinese and Russian task officers, as well as relevant experts, focused on professional exchanges on the development of submersible rescue technology, equipment construction, maritime training, and other topics. At the military port, both sides exchanged visits to each other's ships and held discussions on topics such as the maintenance of the ship's power system, experience in long-distance navigation, and daily training management.
