According to the Securities Times APP, tensions between the United States and Iran have once again escalated. The US Central Command announced on Wednesday local time that after Iran attacked commercial ships in the vicinity of the Strait of Hormuz, the US military has launched a new round of military strikes against Iran. This is at least the fourth round of strikes since the memorandum of understanding was signed between the US and Iran in mid-June. Currently, it appears that the scale and intensity of retaliatory actions by both the US and Iran have not reached the levels seen at the beginning of the conflict. At the same time, US President Trump stated that the ceasefire agreement reached between the US and Iran last month is "over" and implied that they will no longer seek a new agreement with Iran.
