Jiangsu and Fujian provinces have taken multiple measures to deploy flood and typhoon prevention work in advance. Yancheng and Lianyungang in Jiangsu have been affected by the typhoon, experiencing strong winds and heavy rain. Local departments have made advance deployments to comprehensively ensure flood and typhoon prevention. In Yancheng, the agricultural and rural departments have organized agricultural technicians to go into the fields, closely monitoring vegetable bases, planting greenhouses, and low-lying farmland, guiding farmers to dredge ditches, reinforce greenhouse structures, and cultivate soil to protect seedlings, reducing agricultural disaster risks. Port workers inspect each fishing boat's mooring ropes and anchor chains, relying on the Beidou system to monitor outgoing ships in real time and guide fishing boats to return to port for shelter from the storm. Due to the impact of the typhoon, 8 passenger ferry routes in Fujian have been suspended.
