"Chinese lithium carbonate futures and options will be formally introduced to foreign traders starting today."
Approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission, starting from 9 am this morning, overseas traders can participate in the trading of lithium carbonate futures and options on the Guangzhou Futures Exchange. This is another important measure of opening up by our country's futures market to the outside world, marking a further enhancement of our country's price influence in the global new energy materials field. Lithium carbonate is widely used in the production of power batteries and storage batteries. China is the world's largest producer, consumer, and importer of lithium carbonate.
