Guangdong Zhuhai has released the country's first urban-level "new infrastructure" construction action plan and a list of initial investment opportunities. According to the "Zhuhai City's New Infrastructure Construction Action Plan", by the end of 2028, Zhuhai will have fully established a modern sea-based infrastructure system that integrates physical, digital, and ecological spaces in depth. The list of 33 investment opportunities covers areas such as smart shipping, deep-sea green energy, underwater computing power, ocean ranching, and island development, including projects like the Wanshan Sea Area Underwater Data Center, offshore integrated energy islands, and intelligent marine-themed simulation training zones.
