Hang Fat Holdings (00643) has received the original injunction notice issued by the High Court of Hong Kong.
Wise Financial News APP reported that Hang Fook Holdings (00643) announced that on June 30, 2026, the company received an original stop notice issued by the Hong Kong High Court under Rule 50 of the Hong Kong High Court Rules Section 11 (Stop Notice), filed by Giant International Development Limited (Applicant), aiming to restrict the transfer of 4.11 billion shares (subject shares) currently registered under MARS Worldwide Holdings Limited (MARS Worldwide) and to prohibit the payment of any dividends or interests on these shares until a 14-day notice is issued to the legal representative of the Applicant. The reason for issuing the stop notice is that the Applicant claims a default event based on the loan agreement signed on April 14, 2026 (the parties to the agreement include the Applicant as the lender and Zephyrus Capital Limited as the borrower) and the securities account mortgage clause signed on April 14, 2026 between MARS Worldwide as the pledgor and the Applicant as the pledgee, alleging that they are the beneficial owners of the subject shares.
