China Eastern Airlines announced today that starting from July 3, 2026, all wide-body aircraft flights of China Eastern Airlines and its subsidiary Shanghai Airlines will offer free in-flight Wi-Fi. Economy class and premium economy class passengers will receive standard data usage, while business class and first class passengers will receive high-speed data usage. Prior to this, China Eastern Airlines had gradually made in-flight internet free on all domestic and some international routes operated by wide-body aircraft. This announcement extends the free service to all routes, regardless of domestic or international.
