Our country's power supply service has shifted from "basic supply" to "quality experience"
Today, the National Energy Administration released the "China Power Development Report 2026", which shows that China has built the world's largest electricity supply system, forming a world-class giant power supply service network covering urban and rural areas. The report shows that by 2025, China's total electricity consumption has reached a new milestone, exceeding 10 trillion kilowatt-hours, with nearly 800 million electricity users, leading the world in terms of user volume. There are also 99,000 power service outlets across the country, with over 560,000 practitioners, pushing China's power supply capacity and service level to the forefront of the international arena.
Hao Ruifeng, director of the Market Supervision Department of the National Energy Administration, said that China's power supply service has shifted from "basic supply" to "quality experience". A total of 65,900 convenient power-receiving service points for "scanning code electricity use" and "shared electricity use" have been established nationwide. The number of registered users on the online service platforms of power grid companies has reached 570 million households, with an online transaction rate of over 97% in electricity business. In addition, the power industry is constantly promoting green and low-carbon electricity entering all aspects of production and life, especially in promoting "acceleration" in green travel services for the general public.
