The PMI for high-tech manufacturing was 53.5%, an increase of 0.6 percentage points compared to the previous month, significantly higher than the overall manufacturing industry. The development of high-end manufacturing continued to improve, leading the way further strengthened; the PMIs for equipment manufacturing and consumer goods industry were 52.5% and 50.2% respectively, an increase of 0.4 and 0.5 percentage points compared to the previous month, indicating an enhancement in business activity. The PMI for high-energy-consuming industries remained unchanged at 47.1% compared to the previous month.
