The installation of the steel cover beam of the special large bridge portal pier of the Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway has been completed.

Recently, the installation of the large steel girder beams for the portal piers of the Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway Bridge on the Shenzhen-Shanwei Railway was successfully completed. The weight of each girder component ranged from 219.5 tons to 269.2 tons, with large dimensions. All installation operations could only be conducted during brief nighttime windows, making the high-density continuous installation extremely challenging and high-risk due to the proximity to the operating railway line.
