The top 10 cities with population growth in 2025 have been revealed.

With the release of last year's resident population data in various regions, the top ten cities with the highest increase in permanent residents by 2025 have been revealed. The top ten cities are Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Changsha, Jinan, Foshan, Zhongshan, Huizhou, Hangzhou, and Qingdao. The population increase in the top ten cities last year all exceeded 70,000 people. Among them, five cities had a population increase of over 100,000 last year, namely Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Changsha, and Jinan, with the top three all located in the Pearl River Delta. The data shows that Shenzhen's total permanent resident population at the end of last year was 18.2485 million, an increase of 259,000 from the previous year, leading in population growth among major cities.
