On June 26th, Huaxi Steel announced that the company recently conducted a self-examination of past tax-related matters in accordance with the relevant requirements of national tax laws and regulations. The company is required to make a tax payment of 452 million yuan, mainly re-calculating the input tax credit amount enjoyed since 2023, reducing the previously enjoyed input tax credit amount, and making corresponding tax payments; at the same time, it is required to pay a late fee of 244 million yuan. As of the date of the announcement, the above-mentioned tax payments and late fees have been paid in full. The tax payments and late fees paid will be included in the company's second quarter profit and loss for 2026, and the specific impact on the net profit attributable to the shareholders of the listed company will ultimately be based on the audited annual financial statements.
