On June 26, China Eastern Airlines announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, China Eastern Airlines Overseas Limited, plans to issue overseas bonds totaling up to 2.8 billion yuan. The company intends to provide unconditional and irrevocable guarantee for all payment obligations under this bond issuance. As China Eastern Airlines Overseas is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, this guarantee does not involve guarantees from other shareholders or any counter-guarantees.
