Southern Eastern Asset Management Limited's leveraged exchange-traded product linked to SK Hynix has surpassed the Alpha Fund to become the largest ETF in Hong Kong, highlighting investors' huge interest in high-risk investments in the booming semiconductor industry. This ETF product linked to SK Hynix was launched in October with the aim of providing double the daily return of the stock. As of Monday, its assets under management have rapidly exceeded 16.8 billion US dollars. This figure surpasses the Alpha Fund, which has assets of 16.2 billion US dollars and is the first ETF in Hong Kong tracking the Hang Seng Index, and has long been Hong Kong's flagship passive investment tool.
