Due to the impact of demand for artificial intelligence and shortages in supply, South Korea's storage semiconductor exports in June continued to show strong growth momentum, with both export value and unit price significantly increasing. It is highly likely that in June, the country will break the monthly export record set in May for storage products. According to trade statistics released by the South Korean customs on the 22nd, based on preliminary customs clearance data from June 1st to the 20th, the total value of major storage products has exceeded 23 billion US dollars, accounting for over 60% of the total value in May. With the recent sharp increase in monthly exports of HBM, NAND, and SSD, it is expected that the total export value of storage semiconductors in June will reach between 38 billion and 42 billion US dollars. Due to factors such as shipping deadlines and corporate financial report releases, the last 10 days of each month are usually stronger, and it is expected that as the end of the month approaches, exports will further increase.
