China Eastern Airlines has opened a direct flight route from Shanghai to Zurich, Switzerland.

On the 18th at 7:41 local time, an Airbus A350-900 aircraft with more than 260 passengers on board landed at Zurich International Airport in Switzerland. On the same day, it carried nearly 200 passengers back to Shanghai. This marks the official opening of the direct flight route from Shanghai to Zurich by China Eastern Airlines. It is reported that China Eastern Airlines will operate three flights on the Shanghai to Zurich route every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. The inaugural flight was operated by China Eastern Airlines' "Shanghai Summer" themed flight, integrating Shanghai's cultural and tourism characteristics into cabin services and flight experiences, showcasing the charm of Shanghai's culture and urban scenery.
