On June 19th, the China Meteorological Administration continued to issue a yellow warning for heavy rain at 6 o'clock, and the Ministry of Transport maintained a level 3 response to heavy rainfall. On June 19th, the Ministry of Transport held a video dispatch meeting with transportation departments in Anhui, Jiangsu, Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Jiangxi, and Guizhou provinces, as well as provincial transportation companies, expressway groups, and maritime bureaus in Jiangsu province. They were instructed to maintain high vigilance, closely monitor areas with heavy rainfall and high risks of continuous rain, strengthen dispatching, improve work mechanisms, ensure responsibilities are implemented, and urge the proactive implementation of "response, inspection, and control" measures to prevent major accidents. Efforts should be made to effectively prevent and respond to continuous rainfall, implement inspection and patrol measures, ensure pre-positioning of resources, and actively control the situation. Additionally, efforts should be made to focus on the prominent risks during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, strengthen the identification and rectification of risks, upgrade the control of major hazards, prepare for and prevent extreme weather, and ensure the smooth operation of road and water transportation services to ensure the safety, convenience, and smooth travel of the people.
