In recent years, national industry associations and chambers of commerce and other social organizations have adhered to the leadership of party building, actively played to their own strengths, and been bold in exploring innovations, playing an important role in serving economic and social development. At the same time, some national industry associations and chambers of commerce have low political positions, weak awareness of discipline and rules, and chaotic internal management, seriously damaging the overall image and credibility of national industry associations and chambers of commerce. Relevant departments have implemented strict measures to rectify various violations, continuously promoting the standardized and healthy development of national industry associations and chambers of commerce and other social organizations. Since 2026, 14 national industry associations and chambers of commerce with 33 leaders who do not meet the qualifications have been vetoed, pushing out 340 leaders who are overage or overstaying their terms, and dismissing 35 leaders from 22 national industry associations and chambers of commerce. The Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission stationed in the Central Ministry of Social Work and the disciplinary inspection and supervision team of national industry associations and chambers of commerce have focused on the field of national industry associations and chambers of commerce, deepening the promotion of rectification of discipline and anti-corruption efforts. Since 2026, a total of 879 related problem clues have been accepted, 736 cases have been handled, 165 individuals have been interviewed, 65 cases have been preliminarily assessed, 50 cases have been filed, including 7 cases of detention and 14 individuals subjected to detention or criminal enforcement measures, and 28 individuals have been criticized and educated using the "four forms" of punishment.
