On June 15th, in response to the interview by the State Administration for Market Regulation, Sam's Club China stated, "Recently, we have accepted the guidance from the market regulatory department. We fully acknowledge, deeply reflect on, and sincerely accept the issues and rectification requirements pointed out by the regulatory department during the interview. We apologize deeply for the inconvenience and troubles caused to our members by the related problems." Sam's Club China mentioned, "Currently, the company has established a special rectification working group led by the management team, and immediately initiated a special self-examination and rectification of all channels and links. We will strictly abide by relevant laws and regulatory requirements, comprehensively optimize food safety control and product quality control, strictly adhere to the bottom line of food safety, and enhance member experience. We will regularly report the progress of rectification to the regulatory department and actively accept supervision from all sectors of society.
