Guangdong province has upgraded its flood prevention emergency response to level III.

According to the monitoring and forecast of the meteorological and hydrological departments of Guangdong Province, the heavy rainfall in Guangdong Province will continue in the coming days. At present, the soil moisture in Guangdong Province is highly saturated, the water level in rivers and rivers is high, and the risk of flash floods, geological disasters, and urban and rural waterlogging is high, further increasing the safety risk. In view of the current flood control situation, in accordance with the "Guangdong Province Flood Control, Drought Relief, Wind and Freeze Emergency Response Plan" and relevant regulations of the Provincial Flood Control Headquarters, the Guangdong Province Flood Control, Drought Relief, Wind and Freeze Command has raised the flood control emergency response level from Level IV to Level III at 19:00 on June 14th.
