Hong Kong Transport and Logistics Bureau: Highly values the development of Hong Kong logistics industry and optimizing supportive policies for the industry.

According to the Zhtng Finance and Economics App, on June 10th, in response to questions from legislators during a Legislative Council meeting, Hong Kong Secretary for Transport and Logistics Chen Meibao pointed out that the Hong Kong government attaches great importance to the development of the logistics industry in Hong Kong and has been committed to supporting and enhancing Hong Kong's position as an international logistics hub. To achieve this, the Hong Kong government announced the "Modern Logistics Development Action Plan" in 2023, which includes five major development directions: intelligence, modernization, green and sustainability, internationalization, and facilitation. Eight strategies and 24 action measures have been formulated to meet the short, medium, and long-term needs of the logistics industry, in order to realize the goal of turning Hong Kong into a sustainable international smart logistics hub focusing on high-value goods and the e-commerce market.
