The 2026 FIFA World Cup online copyright protection action was launched in Beijing.

On June 9th, under the guidance of the Copyright Management Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department, the China Copyright Association organized the "2026 World Cup Online Copyright Protection Conference" in Beijing, and jointly launched the 2026 World Cup online copyright protection action with relevant units. China Central Radio and Television General Station holds the exclusive full-media broadcast rights and sublicensing rights of the 2026 World Cup matches in mainland China, and authorized China Mobile's Migu and Xiaohongshu as the official broadcasting partners of the 2026 World Cup matches. At the scene, the Copyright Management Bureau of the Central Propaganda Department announced the Eighth Batch of Key Works Copyright Protection List of the National Copyright Administration in 2026, including the 2026 World Cup matches, which will be given key protection.
