On June 5th, the Ministry of Commerce held a symposium on the recycling and utilization of "New Three Types" of solid waste. The meeting emphasized taking practical actions to promote the construction of the solid waste recycling and utilization system for the "New Three Types." It was stressed to adhere to precise guidance, implement classification policies, and adopt differentiated and precise measures according to the development stages and characteristics of the industries of power batteries, photovoltaic modules, and wind turbine equipment, effectively addressing the dismantling issues in recycling and utilization. Emphasis was also placed on leading with science, empowering technology, actively promoting the research and development of related technologies for the recycling and utilization of "New Three Types" of solid waste, and promoting the integration and application of artificial intelligence in the recycling and utilization processes. Furthermore, it was emphasized to continue pilot exploration, encourage pioneering actions, and further carry out pilot projects for the construction of renewable resource recycling systems, encouraging industrial concentration areas and leading enterprises to take the lead in enhancing recycling efficiency, improving sorting capabilities, and promoting the high-quality development of the recycling industry.
