Since the outbreak of the conflict between India and Iran, the civilian gas prices have been raised for the second time to alleviate the losses incurred by state-owned oil and gas sales companies due to selling gas at a low price. The Indian government issued a statement saying that the price of a 14.2 kg liquefied petroleum gas cylinder has been raised by 29 rupees nationwide, and all state-owned refineries have implemented this price adjustment. The official website of Indian Oil Corporation, the largest oil refining company in India, shows that the current price of this specification gas cylinder in New Delhi is 942 rupees. The price of household gas, which receives a direct subsidy of 300 rupees from the government, has also been raised in sync.
